Thank you for your interest in Montana Mud Shirts. We are pleased to share our shirts with you. With all of the natural resources Montana has to offer, we believe utilizing genuine Montana Mud to dye our shirts not only assists in preserving our environment, but also makes a great shirt! The iron oxide in the mud gives the shirt a natural color. We hand dig the clay, work it in, and heat the shirts so the mud sets.

A little about our company. It was established in 2003 by two friends who saw an opportunity to use local resources and create a unique product. My husband Steve and I decided to purchase the company in the summer of 2006 after the birth of our daughter. We wanted to raise Olivia in a beautiful and family focused area and Montana was a perfect fit. From the local artists who draw the designs to my husband and I who hand dig the mud this is truly a "Made in Montana product". I hope you like our shirts as much as we do.
